Gloria N. Miller, 93, of Beallsville, Ohio died Wednesday, November 20, 2019 in Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab Center, Barnesville., Ohio She was born January 26, 1926 in Beallsville, a daughter of the late James and Arminta Brock Milligan. Gloria retired from the Switzerland of Ohio Local School District in 1987 where she had worked in the food service program of the Powhatan Schools for 18 years. She was a 65 year member of St. John's United Church of Christ, Powhatan Point and attended the Jerusalem United Methodist Church after moving to the Beallsville area from the German Ridge Community. Gloria was a member of Clarington Chapter 533, OES and a member of Grand Chapter 1977 Grand Family, OES; and was Past President of District 15, OES. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Miller; two sisters, Alice Stell and Wilma Simmons; a brother, Harry H. Milligan; an infant grandson, Anthony Miller. Surviving are three sons, Neil (Vicky) Miller and Gary (Judy) Miller of Beallsville and Curtis (Alice) Miller of Indianapolis, IN; five grandchildren, Daniel, Kristi, Rachelle, Brian, and Dana; six great-grandchildren, Annaleise, Aaron, Andrew, Belle, Trinity, and Camden; several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday from 2pm to 4pm and 6pm to 8pm at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville where funeral services will be held Saturday at 11am with Ken Phillips officiating. Burial follows in Beallsville Cemetery. Eastern Star services will be conducted by Chapter 533, OES, Friday at 6 PM at the funeral home.
