Mr. Benjamin Allen Baugh, age 34, of Flatwoods, Louisiana, entered eternal rest on Monday, November 18, 2019 in Alexandria, Louisiana. Funeral services for Mr. Benjamin will be on Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at Pine Coupee Pentecostal Church in Flatwoods. Visitation for Mr. Benjamin will be on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at the church from 5:00 p.m. Burial will be in Flatwoods Cemetery under the direction of Gallagher Funeral Home. Mr. Benjamin Baugh was a loving son, brother, and friend. He was a faithful member of Glenmora United Pentecostal Church, where he was also baptized. Mr. Benjamin loved all things sports, especially Saints football, Braves baseball, and North Carolina Tar Heel basketball. He was a baseball umpire, music DJ, and insurance agent. Mr. Benjamin was a published author, writing several poems and novels. Because of his love for people and kind heart, he was loved by everyone that met him. He and his sister, Raven, were very close, and had a bond that couldn't be broken. Mr. Benjamin will forever be missed by those that loved and knew him. Mr. Benjamin Baugh was preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Morland and Joy Baugh; maternal grandfather, Jeff Goynes; step-grandfather, Alvin Burns; and best friend, Chase Murphy. Those left to cherish his memory include mother, Renee Goynes; father, Allen Baugh (Melissa); sister, Raven Slayton (Steven); step-sister, Ashley Smith; grandmother, Clovis Burns; close friend, Nick Lashley; and a host of extended family and friends. Pallbearers honored to serve are; Cody White, Ryan Wilmore, Marlin Goynes, Shawn George, Trent Dewitt, and Nick Lashley.
