Brenda L. Mobley, 77, of Bloomington passed away on Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at her residence. Brenda was born April 6, 1942 in Bloomington and was the daughter of George and Margie (Hillenburg) Davis. Brenda was the retired Postmaster for the Stanford Post Office. She had also worked for several years at Grandview Elementary School in the lunch room. She enjoyed spending time at the cabin at Patoka Lake and going on cruises. Her greatest love though was spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. Brenda is survived by her son Todd Trinkle (Vonda); daughter, Andrea Wimmer (Brian); 3 grandchildren, Chance Wimmer, Clay Wimmer and Breanna Wimmer; 2 sisters, Karen (Curt) Owens, and Marsha Thompson; one brother and 2 granddogs, Otis and Minnie. Brenda was preceded in death by her husband Larry Joe Mobley (2013) and her late husband Howard K. Trinkle (1977) and her parents. Visitation for Brenda will be Monday, November 25, 2019 from 4-8 pm at The Funeral Chapel of Powell and Deckard 3000 E. Third St. Bloomington. Services will be 10:00 am Tuesday, November 26, 2109 at The Funeral Chapel with burial to follow at Clear Creek Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be given in Brenda’s memory to the Alzheimer’s Association (alz.org/donate).
