Beverly Jean Mabee

Beverly Jean Mabee, 76, went to be with the Lord in the early morning hours of Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Trustbridge Hospice while surrounded by members of her loving family. On April 17, 1943, she was born in Detroit, MI to the late Albert Earl Mabee and Matilda P. Mabee. She was preceded in death by her sister Jacqueline Hellin. She is survived by her loving twin sister Barbara Mabee Abel, and husband Jim, her brother Gary Mabee, wife Ylwa of Ellensburg, WA, nephew Dale Tucker, Jupiter, FL and Mary Sue Benz, GA. Beverly was born with Cerebral Palsy and overcame many challenges in her life with her motto - 'When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.' She worked with handicapped children at P. B. Crippled Children's clinic for several years. Always an inspiration to anyone she came in contact with, she never met a stranger and loved meeting new people. She was a member of United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches. A Memorial Celebration of Life service will be held Friday, November 22, 2019 at 4:00 pm in the Chapel at the United Methodist Church of the Palm Beaches, 900 Brandywine Way, West Palm Beach, Florida.
