Elma Hatch

Durham: Elma Hatch, 90, died Tuesday, November 19, 2019 at Hillcrest Convalescent Center. She was born in Chatham Co., the daughter of the late Archie Wilkie and the late Ethel Hillard Wilkie. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Mason Hatch, Sr. Mrs. Hatch was a member of Guess Road Baptist Church. Mrs. Hatch is survived by her daughter, Debbie H. Murphy and husband Randy; son, Thomas Mason Hatch, Jr.; grandchildren, Patrick Murphy, Philip Murphy and wife Allyson; great grandchildren, Charlie Murphy, Brantley Murphy, Riley Murphy; sisters, Frona Eads, Mollie Woody, Linda Gale Wicker; special friends, Linda Carter, Sabrina Carter and her furry friend, Dozer. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, at Guess Road Baptist Church. The family will receive friends prior to the service from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
