Wesley Earl Burns

Again cancer has taken another loved one from us. With deep sorrow, we lost Wesley Earl Burns. On Sept.21 at 7:30 PM, he passed with his family by his side. Wesley was born to Wesley Burns Sr. and Willie Lou Burns in Bakersfield,Ca. at the Cottage Hospital, now known as Good Samaritan Hospital. Wesley married and divorced Cindy Holman and they had 2 boys. Jeremiah of Ventura,Ca and Justin of Seattle,Wash. 1 grandson,Benjamin. Which he truly loved and adored very much. He worked for Buttonwillow Crop Dusters, drove a truck and then a long shoreman loading coal into the trains. When he wasn't working, he was with family and friends, camping ,backpacking, cave exploring and metal detecting. These adventures created memories that will forever be cherished. Wesley is preceded in death by his parents and the mother of his children,Cindy. Wesley is survived by his sons, Jeremiah(Sara) Burns and Justin(Michelle)Burns and his grandson Benjamin. Wesley's brother, Wesley Jr.(Debbie) Burns of Lebanon,Ore. and sister Joyce Ann(Larry) Comstock. Also many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.. We would like to thank Hoffman Hospice for all the love and compassion they showed him and our family. Especially his nurse Lisa We would like to thank Kern River Family Mortuary for the kind and compassionate care they provided the family at this time. We sure do miss you Earl, they say as the days go by it gets easier, but I'm not so sure yet. So many things we see and say each day brings a memory back of you. We will see one another again soon. I love you brother. Your sister and brother in law Ann & Larry Comstock
