Leo J. Duke
Leo J. Duke, 95, of New Britain, died on Tuesday, November 19, 2019. He was born in New Britain to the late Stanislaw and Stefania (Biala) Duke and remained a lifelong resident. Leo proudly served his country in the U.S. Army during WWII. Returning to civilian life, he was employed as an electrician for New Britain Machine until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing whenever he was able to get out on to the links. Leo is survived by his sister, Ann Kimball and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed by them all. In addition to his parents, Leo was predeceased by his siblings: Stanley, Walter and Jean Duke and Stella Sirotnak. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday, November 21 from 5-7 p.m. at the Duksa Family Funeral Homes at Burritt Hill, 332 Burritt St., New Britain. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, November 22 at 9:30 a.m. at Sacred Heart Church. He will be laid to rest with military honors in Sacred Heart Cemetery.July 10, 1924 - November 19, 201907/10/192411/19/2019

Our uncle Leo always had a smile on his face and so honor to have the sweetest uncle in our life. I agree with my cousin...my uncle Leo is in golfer heaven and enjoying every minute of golfing heaven with smiling eyes. I loved you to the moon and back.....
