Jeffrey Lloyd Peters, 59, of Summerville, SC passed away peacefully on November 16, 2019. Jeffrey was born July 3, 1960 in Hyannis, Massachusetts to Charles Blanchard Peters Jr. and Ruth Margaret Peters and raised in Chatham, Massachusetts. Jeffrey is survived by his daughter Shylah and her husband Maurice Coker of Goose Creek, SC; son Khyle Peters of Summerville, SC and grandchildren Donovan, Daijah and Dartagnon Coker. Jeffrey is also survived by his brother Charles B. Peters III and MaryAnn of Uncasville, CT; sister Sheryl (Peters) and Michael Welsh of Limerick, ME; brother David Peters of Brooksville, FL; sister Julianne Peters of Cape Cod, MA; brother Thomas Peters of Port Charlotte, FL along with many nieces and nephews. Jeffrey is preceded by his wife of 31 years, Dawn G. Peters; his father Charles B. Peters Jr and his mother Ruth M. Peters. Jeff was always passionate about his family and loved to tell stories about growing up on Cape Cod, Massachusetts. He was a lifelong Patriots and Red Socks fan and always enjoyed watching and cheering for his Boston sports teams. He also loved to go fishing and play in local pool leagues. He loved his wife Dawn and children Shylah and Khyle and enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren Donovan, Daijah and Dartagnon. He was also very proud of his brothers and sisters. He was always working hard to support his family and would put others before himself. His family loved him very much and he will be dearly missed. 2 Corinthians 5:8 We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord. Jeff was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend to so many more. We will cherish his memory close to our hearts.
