Myra Lynch

Myra Ann Lynch, 74, born and raised in Latrobe, PA, passed peacefully on November 8, 2019. Daughter of the late Victor E. Lynch and Helen Lynch, mother of Melaina Coffin-Quinn and Andrew Coffin, former wife of David W Coffin Jr, sister of the late Dobie, Victor K. and Ron Lynch, sister-in-law of Sue and Dottie Lynch as well as aunt to many nieces and nephews. She will always be remembered as an exceptionally gifted, passionate and inspired caring human being that touched many people’s lives. She was Valedictorian of her high school graduating class, a talented pianist, opera singer, actress, as well as a theatre/music director. She taught piano and voice lessons for many years being highly revered by her loyal students. She was lead actress in numerous plays beginning in high school throughout her final years as a military wife in Europe. Myra was cherished for her role as a Music Director for several churches in and around Latrobe. Her passion for creating and teaching music inspired the hearts of many people. She was a beautiful erudite woman with a quick wit that could charm and outsmart just about anyone! She began her journey attending Penn State as a music major and went on to becoming a military wife and mother. Upon returning from Europe in the US Airforce, her creative passion remained where she taught music for next 40 years to many in and around Latrobe. She will be remembered for her many gifts and contributions to the arts, churches, as well her role as a teacher/mentor, daughter, sister, mother, wife, aunt, and friend. May her spirit, heart, mind and body, rest in peace now knowing the many lives she’s genuinely touched. Services and interment were private. The Hartman-Graziano Funeral Home, Inc. in Latrobe has been entrusted with the arrangements.
