Father Joseph Fiorino Beloved Priest, Brother and Uncle Reverend Joseph Fiorino, 92, of Caldwell, NJ, peacefully passed away on Saturday, November 16, 2019. All are invited to St. Aloysius R.C. Church, 219 Bloomfield Avenue, Caldwell, NJ starting with visitation on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm, with the Office of the Dead being prayed at 7:00pm. A Mass of Christian Burial being offered on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10:30 am. The interment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington, NJ. Father Joe, as he was affectionately known, was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, along with his sister and four brothers, by his parents, Dominic and Angelina (Roma) Fiorino. He proudly served in the United States Navy during World War II. Joe studied at Seton Hall University, with the Passionists, St. Gabriel's Monastery, St. Philip Neri School, St. Peter's College and The Seminary at Darlington. Ordained a Priest on April 7, 1961 at St. Michael's Monastery by Bishop O'Gara. His ministry spanned through many parishes in the Archdiocese of Newark and as Chaplain at St. Elizabeth Hospital before his retirement. Surviving are his loving brothers, Angelo, Carmine and his wife, Anneliese. Also many beloved nieces and nephews, grand nieces and nephews and great grand nieces and nephews; as well as many grateful clergy and parishioners in the Archdiocese of Newark. In addition to his parents he was predeceased by his brothers, Arthur and John, and sisters, Elvira Nichilo and Helen Fiorino.
