Stephen P. Eukers, 73, of Windsor, CT transitioned peacefully into eternal life on Sat, November 16, 2019. Born in September, 1946 to the late Roger and Patricia Eukers, he enjoyed family days at the beach and playing baseball and touch football with his cousins. He completed a B.A. in English at UCONN in 1968. He then proudly served his country during two tours of duty in Vietnam. Upon his return home, he obtained a Masters in English from Central Connecticut State University. During that time, he achieved an M.B.A in Management at Rennselaer Polytechnic Institute. He also was published in Corporate Environmental Strategy. He retired from the job he loved at UTC in January, 2019 to enjoy other pastimes to which he was devoted: literature, baseball and classical music. He was an enthusiastic blood donor for most of his life. To mourn his loss, he leaves his wife Barbara, daughter Bridget, brother Mark, brother-in-laws Andrew III, George, Joseph, Robert and Daniel, sister-in-laws Carol, Barbara, Kathleen, Maureen, Charlene, Wendy, Lynne and Kay, nephews Bryan Jr., Brendan, Scott, Andrew IV, Reamonn, Colin, Robert James, Benjamin, Sean Patrick, Nick, Craig, Sean and Curtis, nieces Elizabeth, Alexis, Sarah, Marybeth, Amanda, Alanna, Lori, Meredith, Ashlea and Melissa, great nephews Paul, Max, Samuel, Andrew V, Nolan, Salem, Everett, Emerson and Declan, great nieces Norah, Ava, Alexandra and Michaela, many cousins and mother-in-law, Lorraine, who became like a mother to him. His family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 20, 2-4 p.m., at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, November 21, 11 a.m., at St. Damien of Molokai Parish, St. Gabriel Church, 379 Broad St., Windsor.
