Annabelle Cunningham, 88, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2019, surrounded by her family. She was born on July 2nd, 1931 in Freedom, PA., and spent most of her adult life as a resident of Hopewell Township, PA. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, J Cunningham in 2018. Annabelle was a proud graduate of the University of Pittsburgh where she earned her Bachelor’s degree in 1970 and received her master’s degree from Slippery Rock University in the following years. The next 20 years were the happiest and most fulfilling of her life teaching 4th grade at Raccoon Elementary School in Hopewell Township. She was immensely dedicated to teaching and was loved by both her students and fellow teachers. After her retirement, Annabelle and J spent the next 16 years at The Villages in central Florida. Annabelle was a devoted mother to her four children, Carol Constante, Janet Mencher, Steve Mencher (Sue) and Barb Walker (Bob); her grandchildren, Kelly Leasha, Kerry Leasha, Casey Mencher and David Bosley; and her great grandchildren; Tyler Koleszar and Harleigh Chapman. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter Carlee Jo Mencher and her brothers, Russell Stillwagon and Daniel Stillwagon. She is survived by her sister, Ruth Michael (Gail). Our mother’s love never wavered. We will miss her forever. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, November 23rd at 11:00 AM at Tatalovich Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 2205 McMinn St, Aliquippa, Pa. 15001.
