Caterina "Catherine" DeLucia DeDomenico, 83, of Wallingford, formerly of East Haven passed away peacefully November 16, 2019 surrounded by her loving family. Beloved mother of Anthony (Maria) Gagliardi of East Haven, Marygrace Gagliardi of Wallingford and Vincent Gagliardi of Guilford. Cherished grandmother of T.J., Matthew, Scott, James, Collin and Alyssa Gagliardi, Stephen and Gabrielle Vermiglio and the late Andrew Vermiglio. Loving sister of Andrea (Vera) DeLucia of New Haven, Giuseppe (Amalia) DeLucia of North Haven and the late Filomena Valentino, Alessandro and Vincenzo DeLucia. Caterina was born in Messercola, Province of Caserta, Italy on June 26, 1936 a daughter of the late Antonio and Vincenza Migliore DeLucia. Prior to her retirement Caterina worked for the former US Surgical for many years. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. Her funeral procession will leave the PORTO FUNERAL HOME, 234 Foxon Rd. (Rte 80) East Haven Thursday morning at 11:30. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in the St. Pio of Pietrelcina Parish at Our Lady of Pompeii Church at 12:00 PM.
