Annette Crippen

Marie Annette Crippen, affectionately known as Annette was born November 30th 1942 in New York City. She was the 1st of 9 children of Cornelius and Arlene Isaacs. As a young girl, her family moved to Astoria Queens where Annette lived until adulthood. In 1962, while working as a secretary at the Fort Hamilton Military Base in Brooklyn, she met her handsome husband Thom Carlson Crippen Who said "I literally swept your mother off her feet and planted a wet one right on her." Mom said, "he sure did and he got smacked for that one." A few years later, on August 28th 1965, they were married and had their first child, Curtis, and a year later came the big surprise, yep, twins Carla and Caprice. Annette was not only a wonderful mother to the children she birthed, but she opened her heart to help raise her husband's young children, Anna, Arthur and Anthony. Sometime later, Thom, Annette and the family moved to the Shinnecock Indian Reservation. While raising her children Annette continued to further her education by graduating "Summa Cum Laude" from Southampton L.I.U. Annette pursued her career in counseling.
