Obituary
Jean was born April 25, 1932 in Edmond, Oklahoma to Louis and Flossie (Thomas) Martin. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and husband: Donald Jarvis. Jean is survived by; son: Donald Lee Jarvis of Sapulpa, daughters: Corliss Prisock and husband Floyd of Howe, Indiana, Denise Graham of Sapulpa and Tonda Presley and husband Jeff of Sand Springs. Sister: Joann Hatchel and husband Vernon of Edmond. Grandchildren: Bryan Prisock (Melanie), Kent Prisock, Julie Graham, Jeron Presley (Rachelle) and Delyn Presley. Great-Grandchildren: Byron Prisock and Chandler Prisock. Jean was raised in the Edmond area. After high school, she moved to the Sand Springs area, where she worked at the Cotton Mill Canteen and met her future husband. She later married Donald Jarvis on June 6, 1950. Her hobbies included cooking, sewing, and shopping - especially at Dillard’s during their sales. Mama enjoyed cooking her specialty fried chicken for Sunday family dinners and yes, you had better be present! She loved talking about the old days and growing up on a farm. Jean was a devoted mother and grandmother who loved her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren dearly. She enjoyed worshipping Jesus and fellowshipping with her friends at church.
