Henry Baggs

Henry Baggs, III, was born on June 18, 1973, to Alma Baggs and the late Elder Henry Baggs, Jr., in Queens, New York. He was educated in the public-school system of Long County. He worked briefly at the Georgia Department of Transportation (GDOT) in Atlanta, Georgia, before moving to New York, and worked as a public transit driver upon his arrival to New York. He later became a dedicated employee of SOS Security of Harlem, New York, where he served for the last ten years. To all who knew him, he was uplifting, always making people laugh, and loved his family and friends. Henry Baggs, III, passed away on November 6, 2019, in New York. He was preceded in death by his father, the late Elder Henry Baggs, Jr., and brother, Micheal Baggs. Those left to cherish his memory: his mother, Alma Carr Baggs, Jesup, GA; two sisters, Jacqueline (James) Forrest, Jesup, GA, and Crystal (Kenneth) Jones, Hinesville, GA; two brothers, Maurice Carr, Jesup, GA, and Anthony Miller, Ludowici G.A; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and other relatives that loved him dearly.
