Leroy Burket

EWING Leroy Burket, 95 of Ewing died Friday, December 11, 2015 in Care One Nursing Home in Ewing. Born in East Freedom, PA, he was a Navy Veteran of World War II where he served in the South Pacific as a pharmacists mate. He resided most of his life in Ewing. He retired from Heath Lumber Co. in Ewing. Son of the late Roland and Susan Dively Burket, he is survived by his wife, Helen M. Burket, a son, David Burket of Pennington, daughter, Linda and her husband, William J. Mitchell of Lawrenceville , a brother, Kenneth Burket of Sheridan, WY, two granddaughters, Laura Arnold of Trenton and Cherie Timmons and husband, John of Chalfont, PA, one great-grandson, Joseph Timmons. A funeral service will be held Tuesday 11:00 am in St. Mary’s Mausoleum, Cedar Lane, Hamilton Twp., NJ. There will be no calling hours. Arrangements are under the direction of the Wilson-Apple Funeral Home, 2560 Pennington Road, Pennington, NJ 08534. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
