Tammie Ann King, 57, of Kansas City, Kansas passed away on Thursday, December 10, 2015. Tammie was born on August 28, 1958 in Kansas City, Kansas to James and Martha Whisler. Tammie worked as a Title Clerk for Shawnee Mission Kia, but her true passion was her grandchildren- she never missed a ball game, even when she wasn’t feeling good. Tammie also enjoyed bowing and playing on her tablet. Tammie was preceded in death by both her parents and her sister, Cynthia M. Whisler. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving husband, Kenneth L. King and children: Nichole E. Whisler-Grayson (Eddie), Mason L. King (Lashly), and Stephanie A. King- all of the home; siblings: Sandra L. Whisler of Kansas City, Kansas, Jamie B. King of Kansas City, Kansas, JamesW. Whisler Jr of Kansas City, Kansas, William J. Whisler of Kansas City, Kansas, Mickey E. Whisler of Grosebeck, Texas, and David M. Whisler of Kansas City, Kansas, and 8 grandchildren. She was loved by many and will be dearly missed! In lieu of flowers, the family would like you to please consider donating to the American Cancer Society in Tammie's honor. Visitation will be at the Highland Park Funeral Home and Crematory on Tuesday, December 15, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.  Funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m.  Mrs. King will be laid to rest at the Highland Park Cemetery.
