Arnold R. Sexton, 64 of Bourbon, passed away at Memorial Hospital of South Bend on Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 5:36 PM of failing health. Arnold was born the son of Elkana and Louverne (Osborn) Sexton at Martin, KY on January 2, 1955. He has lived most of his life in the area of Bourbon and Argos. He has been a truck driver most of his life until he had become ill. He drove trucks for Woody Everly Trucking of Warsaw and Glen-Di of Rochester, driving truck was his greatest joy along with his family. On January 18, 1975, he married the love of his life Candace (Ellinger) Sexton who survives along with his two sons: Neil Sexton of Bourbon, Greg and wife Debbie Sexton of Argos and “Daisy the cat.”. Arnold was born into a large family and his siblings include his sisters: Carrie Blanton of Emma, KY, Audrey and husband Lowell Minnix of Pierceton, Bonnie Roberts of Pierceton, Sherra Sexton of Larwill; brothers: Ronnie of Pierceton, Clyde of Chapman Lake, Ralph and wife Mary of Columbia City and David and wife Lisa of Dade City, FL. Preceding him in death were his sisters: Betty Burkett and Catherine Sexton; brothers: Calvin, Bobby and Alan. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 13, 2019, from 10:00 A.M. - 2:00 P.M. in the Tippecanoe Community Church, 2940 18B Rd., Tippecanoe, IN 46570. Funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM with Pastor George Shoemaker officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Bourbon, Indiana. The family asks that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice or perform a random acts of kindness in honor of Arnold.
