Mary Catherine Stiner

Mary Catherine Stiner, 82, passed away Saturday, November 9, 2019 at Norton’s Hospital in Louisville, KY. She was born March 8, 1937 in Harrison County, IN the daughter of Raymond and Kathleen Kannapel Stiner. She was a supervisor for the Census Bureau, in the women’s quilting group at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Corydon and was a lifelong member of Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New Middletown, IN. She was preceded in death by her parents and is survived by her brother William Stiner of New Middletown, IN; sister, Lois Ann Drury of Floyds Knobs, IN; nieces Mary Drury of Floyds Knobs, IN, Paula Moore of New Albany, IN and Melissa Drury of Elizabeth, IN; great niece, Kate Surber and great great niece Kemry Sigman both of Floyds Knobs. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 AM Thursday, November 14, 2019 at Most Precious Blood Catholic Church in New Middletown. Father Kyle Rodden will be the celebrant. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 PM to 8 PM Wednesday, November 13, 2019 and again on Thursday from 9 AM to 10 AM at the Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Corydon, IN. There will be a Rosary Service on Wednesday evening at 7:15 PM at the Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial gifts be made to either Most Precious Blood Catholic Church or to Most Precious Blood Catholic Cemetery.
