Wilma Coen

Wilma Lea Coen, 73, of Smithfield, WV died at her home on Saturday, November 9, 2019 while surrounded by her family. Wilma was born September 29, 1946 in Folsom, Wetzel County, WV; daughter of the late George B. and Mary (Weekly) Smith. She was a homemaker, she loved sewing, quilting, watching Perry Mason, cooking, canning and caring for her family and was a member of the Pricetown Church of Christ. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Bill and Clifford Smith and two sisters, Maxine Dunlap and Irene Smith and granddaughter, Teresa Morgan,. Surviving are her husband, Franklin Coen; two daughters, Connie (John) Morgan of Reader, WV and Donna (Ronald) Efaw of Burchfield, WV; three brothers, George “Joe” Smith of Smithfield, WV, Donald Smith of Pennsylvania and Junior Smith of Smithfield, WV; sister, Karen Smith of Ohio; seven grandchildren, Larry George, Beverly George, Levi Quinn, Hope Morgan, John Morgan, Jr., Angela Morgan and Daniel Morgan and several great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and cousins. Friends received noon until time of funeral service 1 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2019 at the Pricetown Church of Christ. Memorial contributions may be made, in Wilma’s name, to the Pricetown Church of Christ.
