Frank J. Sclafane, 70, of Forked River, NJ died on Saturday November 9, 2019 at Tallwoods Care Center in Bayville, NJ. Frank was a long time resident of Bayonne, NJ before moving to Forked River, NJ. He was a Retired Mail Sorter for the Seacacus Mail Terminal in Seacacus, NJ. He proudly served his country in the US Air Force during the Vietnam War. Frank was a member of the VFW in Bayonne, NJ. Frank is predeceased by his parents Frank and Marie Sclafane and his sisters Maureen Smith (Rene) and Lois Michaels. Surviving is his sister Frances Kane of Bayonne, NJ; his nieces Maria Gesek (Ed), Jody Kraynak (Kerry), Jill Michaels and Jessica Michaels; his nephews Michael Ensor, Bryan Gesek and Jay Michaels; his great nieces Kara Belviso, Caitlin Michaels and Kelly Krautkremer; his great nephews Anthony Michaels (Jennifer), Keith Krautkremer (Nicole) and Brandon Walz and many other relatives. Family will receive friends on Thursday November 14, 2019 from 4-7pm with a Service at 4:30pm at the Timothy E. Ryan Home for Funerals-O’Connell Chapel 706 Rt. 9 Bayville, NJ.
