Robert "Bob" Paul Fasnacht Obituary

Robert Paul Fasnacht passed away on November 8th, 2019 at his home in Cantonment, Florida with his loving wife of 59 years at his side. Bob was born on July 14th, 1940 in Spring View Landour, lndia and was adopted at a year old by Missionaries from the Church of the Brotheren, Everett and Joy Fasnacht. After coming to the United States in 1957 , he proudly joined and served in the United States Navy for 25 years retiring in 1983 as Master Chief Petty Officer. Bob and his family were stationed in Japan and the Phillipines from 1969-1979. After retiring from the Navy, Bob obtained his Bachelors Degree from the University of West Florida and began his teaching career at Locklin VoTech in Santa Rosa County, Florida were he taught for 20 years. Bob enjoyed traveling, photography, and had a love for music. He was a member of the Milton Garden Railroad Club where he traveled and set up model trains for the public to see and enjoy. We would like to give a special thanks to Dr. lnclan, his staff and the infusion team at Woodlands (Vampire Sisters) and Covenant Care. Bob is preceded in death by his father, Everett Fasnacht; mother, Joy C. Fasnacht; and brother, Dean Merrill Fasancht. He is survived by his true love and soul mate, Lorene E. Fasnacht; his son, Mark Everett Fasnacht; daughter, Joanne Fasnacht Rausch; her husband, Dana Roy Rausch; his grandson, Aaron Paul Rausch; granddaughter, Kari Rae Tyree; her husband, Micheal Tyree; and his great granddaughter, Kaydance JudyAnn MacKenzie a.k.a Trouble. Funeral services will be held at 12noon, Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at Faith Chapel Funeral Home North with Dr. Will Stone officiating. Burial to follow in Barrancas National Cemetery. The family will receive friends at 11AM prior to services. Pallbearer will be Dana Roy Rausch, Aaron Paul Rausch, Micheal Tyree, Kyle Roberts, Daniel Harris, and Andrew Norton.
