Colanardi, Margot Margot Martha Margerite Colanardi (nee Schwesig) passed Friday, November 8, 2019 at Guelph General Hospital in her 81st year. Survived by her husband Michele, son Tony (Lynn), daughters Maria (Nick) and Michelle (John). Predeceased by her son Michael. Omi will be greatly missed by her grandchildren Sarah, Philip, Nicholas, Victoria and Robert. Margot is also survived by her brothers Herbert, Wolfgang, Siegfried, Reiner and sisters Ingrid, Gunhild and Rita, all of Germany. Predeceased by her parents Erich and Emma and brother Karl Heinz. She will also be fondly remembered by her Colanardi in-laws and many nieces and nephews. Margot was born in Wittenberg Germany on July 8, 1939. She and Michele immigrated to Canada in 1965 and settled in Guelph in 1968. Margot was a devoted wife and mother who enjoyed music, nature, animals, crafts and a good laugh. Visitations will be held at Gilbert MacIntyre and Son Funeral Home, Dublin Chapel, 252 Dublin St, N, Guelph, on Monday, November 11th from 2-4 pm and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place in the funeral home chapel on Tuesday, November 12th at 11:00 a.m. Entombment to follow at Our Lady Immaculate Mausoleum at Marymount Cemetery. All are invited to a reception following. Memorial contributions to the Guelph Wish Fund for Children would be appreciated. Donation cards are available at the funeral home or online at www.gilbertmacintyreandson.com.
