Anna Mary Yardanoff

Yardanoff, Anna Mary (nee Caporossi)- Anna passed away peacefully at Extendicare Maple View on Thursday November 7, 2019 at the age of 92. Beloved wife of the late Alex. Survived by her sons Jim (Lorie) and Joe (Lina). Loving grandmother of Cody, Jessica and Melissa. Predeceased by her parents Guisseppi and Grace Caporossi, six brothers, Ralph, Mario, Frank, Guerra, Gino and Fred and three sisters, Matilda, Mary and Lena. She will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Anna was a kind, caring and generous person. She had a passion for cooking and was very good at it. Her homemade ravioli, gnocchi, fettuccine, perogies, cabbage rolls, tie plates and genetties were the best! She also loved to read and wore out more than a few library cards. Although she left high school early to take care of her ailing parents, she was very smart. She was great with numbers, had excellent writing skills and beautiful penmanship. She was most proud of her two sons and their families. A special thanks to the staff at Maple View 4th floor Harmony Bay for the care and compassion given to Anna throughout the years she lived there. Memorial donations can be made to the Sault Area Hospital Foundation or Kayge Fighters Against DIPG Foundation in Anna’s memory. Cremation has taken place and a private family service was held. Arrangements entrusted to O’Sullivan Funeral Home, 215 St. James Street, 705-759-8456. “Go to heaven now Mom and meet up with Dad, your parents and brothers and sisters. You’ve earned your rest”. We love you xo.
