Connie K. Sturgeon 75, of Petersburg, IN entered rest on Friday Nov. 8, 2019 at her home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on Feb.26, 1944 in Oakland City, IN to Hugh & Lucille Willis. She is member of Petersburg Church of The Nazarene. Connie was married to George Larry Davis on December 22, 1961. George Larry preceded her in death on October 23, 1973. Connie married Denzial Ray Sturgeon February 5, 1976 In addition to her first husband, George Larry Davis, Connie was preceded in death by her parents, Hugh & Lucille Willis, and brothers Elwood Willis and Richard Scott Willis. She is survived by husband Denzial Sturgeon, children Kim (Phil) Young of Oakland City, IN, Kelly (Steve) Cook of Petersburg, IN, and Todd (Jody) Davis of Petersburg, IN. Sister Ann Crow of Petersburg, IN. Brother Greg Willis of Morocco, IN. Grandchildren Matthew (Amanda) Kramer, McKenzie (Seth) Woolsey, Kullen Cook, Brady Like, Chase Davis, Zoey Davis, Mason Young. Great grandchildren Daxyn Kramer, Bladyn Kramer, Ian Woolsey, Meadow Kramer, Milah Kramer, Aiden Woolsey, Jepplyn Kramer, and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 3:00 -7:00 P.M. CST Sunday at Lamb-Basham Memorial Chapel and from 9:00 A.M. CST until services on Monday at the church. Funeral services will be at 10:00 A.M. CST Monday Nov. 11, 2019 at Oakland City Church of The Nazarene. Reverend Darin D. Nossett will be officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hills Cemetery Petersburg, IN.
