Daniel Reed “Dan” Doncoes, 63, of Peru, passed away peacefully from cancer, Friday, November 08, 2019 at home, surrounded by his loved ones. Dan was given the nickname, Strong Like Bull, which he was until the very end. According to his wishes, no services will be held. He will be loved and forever in our hearts. Arrangements are entrusted to the Mueller Funeral Home, Peru. Dan was born February 26, 1956 in Toledo, OH to William “David” and Phyllis Ann Doncoes. He was an Eagle Scout and worked as a machinist for the railroad. Survivors include his wife, Cindy; two daughters, Michelle (Shane) Link of LaSalle and Crystal (D.J.) Grammer of Dalzell; four grandchildren, Madeline Link, Dylan Grammer, Logan Link and Jaxon Kozak; one sister, Sharon Brito and family; his brother, Tim Doncoes and family and a nephew, Joshua Webster. He was preceded in death by his parents, William “David” Dancoes and Phyllis Ann Baumgarten and one sister, Becky Webster.
