Dolores Duran

Dolores F. Duran, 83, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed away November 7, 2019 at the Cheyenne Regional Medical Center. Dolores was born November 11, 1935 in Questa, New Mexico, daughter of the late Santiago and Eufemia (Rael) Gallegos. Dolores retired as a secretary from the State of Wyoming Agriculture Department. She will be fondly remembered as the “green chili lady”, and most importantly as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and friend. Dolores is survived by her husband, Louis Duran; three daughters, Leona Espinoza, Kim Eres and Julie (Lawrence) Garcia; sister, Gloria Ortiz; seven grandchildren, DeeAnna (Frondee) Waters, Christopher (Sarah) Medaleno, Laurie (Moses) Gunn, Geena (Adrienne) Eres, Julien Garcia, Jordan Garcia and Lorenzo Espinoza; and eight great-grandchildren, Jasmin, Fuji, Dezmond, Moses, Jr, Destiny, Brenden, Jason and Gabriella. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Solio Gallegos, Gilbert Gallegos, Jimmy Gallegos, Orlando Gallegos and Louis Gallegos; sister, Olivia Quintana; and two sons-in-law, Phillip Medaleno and Ron Eres. Services will be private. Cremation is under the care of Schrader, Aragon and Jacoby Funeral Home.
