Isaura (Zeferino) Tereso, 69, of Ludlow passed away peacefully on Thursday December 10, 2015 in the care and comfort of her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Carris, Portugal to the late Joaquim and Joaquina (do Carmo) Zeferino, she has lived in Ludlow for many years and was a faithful communicant of Our Lady of Fatima Parish. Isaura was a union member and 18 year employee of Spaulding in Chicopee. Isaura loved to cook, sew and garden in her early years. She mostly enjoyed being surrounded by friends and family and taking every opportunity possible to make people laugh, she was very spiritual and faithful which allowed her the strength she needed to get through every day. She leaves her beloved husband of 45 years, Alberto Tereso of Ludlow; loving children Sandy Tereso of Natick and Nelson Tereso of Ludlow; her caring brother Antonio Zeferino and sisters Francelina Costa, Maria Joao, Ilda Lopes, Idalina Pereira and Alice Neto all in France as well as her brothers and sisters-in-law Maria Helena Tereso of Portugal, Armando Tereso of Chicopee and Manuel Tereso, Manuela Santos, Maria Fragoso and Fernando Tereso all of Ludlow, along with many loving nieces and nephews.    Funeral services for Isaura will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015 at 10:00am from the Ludlow Funeral Home with a Liturgy of Christian Burial celebrated at 11:00am in Our Lady of Fatima Parish followed by burial in Island Pond Cemetery.
