Mr. William "Bobby" Earl HowellRocky Mount, NC William"Bobby" Earl Howell was born on April 27, 1932 to the late Zebedee Howell and Savannah Monroe Howell in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. He passed away on November 8, 2019 at his residence in Rocky Mount, North Carolina. Bobby received his education through the Rocky Mount School System and graduated from Booker T. Washington High School. In 1956, he married Geraldine Smith and to this union, their son, Shawn was born. After residency in New York for thirty-four years, Bobby and Geraldine returned to Rocky Mount in 1995. Bobby proudly served during the Korean Conflict as a member of the United States Air Force. He is preceded in death by his parents: Zebedee Howell and Savannah Monroe Howell; his wife, Geraldine; two brothers and two sisters. Bobby is survived by his loving son, Shawn (Elisabeth)Howell of Louisville, KY; two brothers Bill D. (Barbara) Howell of Wilmington, NC and Donald (Wanda) Howell of Rocky Mount, NC. Bobby will fondly be remembered by nieces and nephews, relatives, his special friend Shirley, caring neighbors and friends. These professional services have been entrusted to H.D.
