Louise Camaratta

Louise Camaratta, age 79 of Smyrna, Delaware was called home to be with her LORD on Friday, November 8th 2019. She was the devoted wife of George Camaratta and loving mother to Debbie. Born in Philadelphia on January 10th 1940, Louise was the loving daughter of George and Claudine Gardner, both of whom preceded her in death. The oldest of five children, Louise is survived by her brother George (Janice) and she joins her brothers, James and William and sister, Margaret, in eternal rest. Louise was a loving, kind, and gentle person who liked the beach and camping in her younger days. She was a great cook and avid baker and loved to host holiday parties and summer picnics for her family. Louise also loved to crochet and was known for her infant blankets and baby outfits that she created for her nieces, nephews and their children. Louise will be greatly missed by her husband, daughter, family and friends and she will be forever in their hearts. Louise’s celebration of life will be held at St. Polycarp Catholic Church, located at 55 Ransom Lane in Smyrna, DE on Saturday, November 16th at noon. A memorial service will also be held at the Bon Ayre Community Center following the Mass.
