Carl Bryant Tarver, 83, of Cleveland, MS, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019, at Walter B. Crook Nursing Home in Ruleville, MS. Visitation will be 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 9, 2109, at Calvary Baptist Church with a Celebration of Life Service to follow with Brother Larry Braswell officiating. Carl was born on March 11, 1936, to Harry and Bertie Johnson Tarver in Shaw, Mississippi. On October 11, 1954, he married Dot Stewart in Skene, MS. He owned his own business, Tarver Flooring, as a contractor for 40 years before retiring. He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Bertie Tarver. Carl is survived by his beloved wife, Dot Tarver; daughters, Crystal Tarver Vint (Bill) and Cindy Tarver Steele (Steve); brothers Joe, Hilton, and Bobby Tarver; grandchildren, Cassie Manley, Jami Manley, Stephanie Jenkins (Jonathan), and Bryant Steele; and seven great grandchildren, PJ Dehart, Alexis Henderson, Jonathan Blaylock, Jayci Blaylock, Carlee Jenkins, Amelia Jenkins, and Jackson Jenkins.
