Lucinda “Lucy” E. Pierce, age 99, of Kansas City, Missouri and previously of Piper, Kansas passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019 at her home. Local Visitation will be Thursday, Nov.7th 6-7pm followed by the Funeral at 7pm, both at the Alden-Harrington Funeral Home in Bonner Springs, KS. Visitation in Lebanon, Missouri will be Friday, Noon-1pm at the Holman-Howe Funeral Home followed by the Graveside Committal Service at 1:30 in the Crossroads Cemetery near Falcon, MO. Lucy was born on August 22, 1920 in Dry Knob, Missouri and was the second oldest of 7 children born to Willy & Mattie (Enyart) Wilson. She was raised in the Dry Knob area near Lebanon. Lucy married Robert “Bob” E. Pierce on June 21, 1941 and together they celebrated 60 years of marriage together before his death in September of 2001. Bob and Lucy moved to the Linwood, Kansas area in 1948 and later settled in Piper where they made their home. She was also preceded in death by her parents, granddaughter Pamela Malinowski, great-grandsons; Jeremy Lee & Bryan Malinowski and by her six siblings; Milburn E. Wilson, Wilburn Wilson, Floyd Wilson, Louise Decker, Jimmy L. Wilson and Lillian K. Doublin-Martell. Survivors include her daughter Roberta Malinowski of the home, two grandchildren; Denise Lee and Stephen Malinowski and his wife Jana, three great-grandchildren; Justin Lee, Nicole Waddell and husband Jamie, Paige Galvan and husband Fernando, two great-great-grandsons Beckett Waddell and Dax Waddell
