Rosa Luevano

Rosa Maria Luevano went to be with the Lord November 4, 2019 at the age of 88. She was born September 6, 1931 in Mexico to the late Eulogio and Altagracia Luevano. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm at Grace Funeral Home, 2401 Houston Highway in Victoria. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, November 8, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Santisima Trinidad, 2901 Pleasant Green in Victoria with interment to follow at Resurrection Cemetery. In addition to her parents, Rosa is preceded in death by her husband Desiderio Lopez Portillo; three of her children Juana Lopez, Juan Lopez and Gonzalo Lopez and her brother Roberto Luevano. She is survived by her children Jesus Lopez, Julia Lopez, Maria Lopez, Agustin (Maria) Lopez, Yolanda Lopez, Gonzalo Lopez, Rogelio (Maria Garcia) Lopez, Ricardo Lopez and Hector Lopez; brothers Antonio Luevano, Salomon (Angelina) Luevano and Eulogio (Lydia) Luevano; sisters Maria Elena Luevano, Carmen Lopez and Mariana (Luis) Portillo; 11 grandchildren; 1 great granddaughter and 1 great grandson is on the way. Rosa was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. She loved spending time with her family, drawing, reading the Bible, cooking, knitting, gardening, especially her roses.
