Leah Victoria LawsonYour wings were ready, but my heart was not. "Loving my girls is what I do best" Dad Leah Victoria Lawson, 22, of Princeton WV, passed away, Saturday, April 16, 2016 IN Welch WV. Born September 28, 1993, in Princeton WV, she was the only child of Larry, and the late Charlynn Kish Lawson, she was their greatest joy in life. She resided with the love of her life, her four year old daughter, Leighara McKell Lawson. Leah, was a 2011 graduate of Mount View High School, and a 2014 LPN graduate from the McDowell County Career and Technical Center. She was employed at the Maples in Bluefield, WV.In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by, her grandmothers, Vicki Kish and Leola Lawson, and her uncle, Jeff Kish.In addition to her daughter, she will be lovingly remembered by her dad, Larry Lawson and fiancĂ© Martha Lewis, of Pageton WV, her grandfathers, Sonny Lawson of Gary WV, and Julius Kish of Bluefield WV, her Best Friend, who was more like a sister, Traci Walters. She will be sadly missed by Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and friends. When you think of Leah, please remember her as she was, "wide open and not but 2 cares in the world... Leighara and her Dad."Funeral services to celebrate the life of Leah Lawson will be held at 11 A.M., Friday, April 22, 2016 from the Fanning Funeral Home Chapel in Welch with Pastor Donald Farmer III officiating; burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Princeton WV. Friends may call, Thursday, April 21, 2016 from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. at the Fanning Funeral Home in Welch WV.Pallbearers will be, Michael "Squirt" Robinson, Dustin Farmer, Adam Farmer, James "Bubby" Belcher, Josh Belcher, Johnathan Workman, Joey Fields, and Ryan "Rhino" Sizemore.Online condolences may be sent to the family at www.fanningfuneralhomes.com.Fanning Funeral home of Welch is serving the Lawson Family

Larry, I am so sorry for your loss. I loved Leah very much. She was such a beautiful girl on the inside and out. I will miss her very much. She will never be forgotten. I miss her so much. My heart is truely broken. My thoughts and prayers are w you and the baby.
