Doyle G. Robinson
of Mason, passed away April 15, 2016 at home surrounded by his family. Doyle was born on
May 8, 1934, the son of the late Russell “Pat” Robinson and Avilda “Billie” Hicks. Doyle spent
the majority of his working life in the printing industry, wherein he made numerous friends and
colleagues, and eventually became owner/operator of Classic Printing until his retirement in
2012. He adored his loving wife, family, friends and loved animals, especially his dogs. He was
also an avid lover of tractors. He is survived by their children, Debora (Richard) Belen, Mark
Robinson, Wendy Robinson and Lisa (Steve) Jackson; 8 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren;
1 great-great grandchild; sisters, Phyllis (Chuck) Griffis of Florida; Patricia (Michael) Teague of
Texas; brother-in-law, Chuck Rens, many extended family members; and special friend, Milly
Crothers. He was preceded in death by his parents; devoted wife, Ketha A. (Larner) Robinson, of
60 years; brother, Paul Robinson; sisters-in-law, Barbara Parker, Joyce Rens; brothers-in-law,
Robert Lorenzen and Norman Parker. A celebration of his life will be held on Friday, May 13
from 6:30-10:00 p.m. at Alaiedon Township Hall, 2021 W. Holt Road, Mason. Memorial
contributions may be made to the Capital Area Humane Society in memory of Doyle.
