Patricia Wacienga

Patricia Wacienga, 76, born December 2, 1939 in Buffalo, NY passed into the arms of our loving Father on April 15, 2016 in Peoria, AZ after a courageous battle against breast cancer. Pat was preceded in death by Edward, her loving husband of 56 years. She will be dearly missed by her children Jennifer Kusmierski (Steve Battaglia), Edward (Kathy), Nancy (Terry) Short and Tom (Maria); her 10 grandchildren (Jason, Jacob, Deirdre, Ryan, Liz, TJ, Brody, Meghan, Amber and Christopher); and 17 great grandchildren (Dominic, Breanna, Vincent, Libby, Jack, Carter, Jacob Jr, Christian, Zenaida, Valentino, Zavier, Veronica, Remington, Vincent Jr, Baby Vullo, James, and Justin). Pat and Ed relocated with Western Electric (AT&T) in 1977. She retired from York International in May, 1995. In retirement she enjoyed being CEO of Ga and Papa's Day Care, her annual cross-country trip to visit family in Western New York, working out daily with her 5:30am friends, movies, reading, book club, crocheting (especially baby blankets for family and friends), and volunteering at her grandchildren's schools. Services will be held on Thursday, April 21 at 2:00 PM at Peace Lutheran Church located at 18265 N 89th Avenue (Peoria). Pat was loved by many and will be missed dearly by all that knew her.
