Lisa Irene Resnick, 94, of Hannibal, Missouri, passed away at 11:34 AM Monday, November 4, 2019, at Hannibal Regional Hospital in Hannibal, MO. Private graveside services and burial will be at B’Nai Shalom Cemetery in Hannibal, MO. There will be no visitation. The family is being served by the James O'Donnell Funeral Home in Hannibal, MO. Lisa was born January 20, 1925, in Tunis, Tunisia, North Africa to Moses and Emma Ouzan. She was married to Samuel Resnick on June 16, 1946 at the Hannibal Temple. He preceded her in death. Survivors include 3 children, Randy Resnick of St. Louis, MO, Paula Crane of Hannibal, MO and Jack Resnick of Hilton Head, South Carolina, 1 sister Yvette Schuver (Fred) of Arizona, 3 grandchildren, Michelle Riney, Ben Resnick and Sasha Othmani and 8 great grandchildren, Jack Riney, Parker Riney, Ethan Riney, Samara Othmani, Sami Othmani, Hamdi Othmani, Flynn Resnick and Claire Resnick. Lisa is also survived by her nieces, nephews and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, 1 son in law, Greg Crane and 1 daughter in law, Suzi Resnick. Lisa retired from Nieman Marcus Department Store in St. Louis, MO where she was an Associate in the Shoe Department. An excellent cook, Lisa specialized in Mediterranean cuisine. She enjoyed traveling to Europe and North Africa to visit family and spoke French, Hebrew and Arabic fluently. Always looking her best, Lisa loved matching her shoes with her outfit. Most of all Lisa loved her family and she always looked forward to the moments she shared with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Lisa was a member of the United Hebrew Temple in St. Louis, MO and later Temple Israel in Hannibal, MO. Memorial contributions may be made to the Hannibal Free Clinic. Honorary pallbearers will be Ben Resnick, Craig Zimmerman, Fred Schuver, Mark Schuver, Matthew Schuver, John Riney, Jack Riney, Parker Riney and Ethan Riney.
