Mrs. Sherry Ann McGuire, age 64, of Clayton, AL passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019, at Southeast Health in Dothan, Alabama. <br/>Glover Funeral Home of Clayton will be in charge of cremation services for Mrs. McGuire. The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 7, at Glover Funeral Home in Clayton from 5 until 7 pm. <br/>Sherry was born on February 4, 1955, in Tampa, Florida, the daughter of Ralph Rowe, Sr and Ruth Rowe. She graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, Florida. After graduation, she purchased the Dairy Queen in Tampa that she was working at and began her career in the food service industry. In 2008 she and her husband purchased The Clayton Dime Store in downtown Clayton, Alabama, a local favorite. Sherry loved riding her Harley, and spending time with her dogs: Tank, Lucy, Bella, and Dolly. She also enjoyed watching scary movies (the scarier the better), and spending time talking with the ladies of Clayton. She attended Clayton Baptist Church. <br/>She was preceded in death by her parents, son, Christopher Brady; daughter, Lara Brady; and infant granddaughter, Rose Brady.<br/>Survivors include: her husband of 22 years, Tom McGuire, Clayton; daughter, Lisa Brady (Allison) Clayton; son, Tommy McGuire, Clayton; stepdaughter, Kara McGuire, Tampa, Fl.; two stepsons, John Holt (Candice), FL., Adam Holt, Fl.; brother, Ralph Rowe, Jr. Tampa, Fl.; sister, Sandra Pearson, Tampa, Fl.; and seven grandchildren, Christopher Couey, Meagan Brady, Serena Brady, Sierra Johnson, Tayler Holt, Gage Holt, and Hunter Holt.<br/>Glover Funeral Home of Clayton was entrusted with the arrangements.
