Virginia “Ginger” Rohr Kemmerer, age 74, of Rockmart, GA passed away on Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Floyd Polk Medical Center in Cedartown. She was born in Monroe, NC on April 13, 1942. The daughter of the late Henry L Rohr, Sr. and Carmella Fasano Rohr. Mrs. Kemmerer had been a resident of Rockmart since 1997, moving here from New Smyrna Beach, FL. She was a member Aragon Methodist Church where she served as a trustee on the board, was active with VBS, the food pantry and the quilting group. She was preceded in death by her husband Daniel F. Kemmerer, Sr. in 2011. She was a homemaker and school crossing guard. Survivors include a son, Daniel F. (Buddy) Kemmerer, Jr. and his wife Cathy of Travelers Rest, SC, a daughter, Sheila Glaze and her husband Wayne of Rockmart, a brother Henry L. (Buddy) Rohr, Jr., his wife Bobbie of Blairsville. Grandchildren include Justin Fink and his wife Randi of Grimsley, TN, Sarah Brown and her husband Adam of Goose Creek, SC, Jason Fink of Rockmart, Hannah Master and her husband Brandon of Pickens, SC, Jesse Kemmerer, Deborah Kemmerer and Jared Kemmerer, all of Travelers Rest, Justin Glaze of Atlanta and Austin Glaze of McDonough. Great grandchildren include Lindley and Emerson Fink, Kaia Brown and Isaac Master. Nephew Chris Rohr, his daughter Angie and son Andrew, niece Kim Collins, her husband Justin and their children, Tyler, Cassie, Cara and Caitlyn, nephew Bryan and his wife Laura and their son Connor. The memorial service for Mrs. Kemmerer will be held on Saturday, April 23, 2016 at 3:00 pm at Aragon United Methodist Church.
