Gearld Dean McFerron, 75 of Berea went to his Heavenly home Monday, October 28th, 2019 at Rockcastle Health and Rehabilitation Center in Broadhead after a long illness. The son of the late Thurman and Nona Bradley McFerron, he was born May 10, 1944 in Rockcastle County. Gearld was a farmer his entire life. He married Juanita Lucille Potts on March 31, 1973. Gearld is survived by his wife Juanita Lucille Potts McFerron; three sons, Mike McFerron, Nelson McFerron (Kim), Randall McFerron (Marie); one brother Daryl McFerron; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents, one brother Lloyd McFerron, Jr., two babies and two sisters-in-law. In accordance with his wishes, services were private.
