Barbara A. Wright Of Arlington Heights  Barbara A. Wright was born on March 12, 1947 in Makanda, Illinois to Vernon and Adell (nee McMillan) Wright. She died Monday, October 28, 2019 at Waverly Inn in Arlington Heights, Illinois.  Mrs. Wright was a CPA who worked for Zurich American Inc. as an Asst. VP of Accounting, for Harco Insurance as a Controller and for Anders Associates, Inc. as a Partner. She was a member of Chicago Costumers Guild serving as their Past President. Her interests and hobbies included; sewing, costume recreation, reading, and travel.   Barbara is survived by her spouse of 31 years Robert D. Anders; her daughter Elizabeth (Nicholas Zuleger) Jones; her brother James (Toby) Wright; her sister Susan (Larry Bordner) Renner, as well as several nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by her parents.  Memorial Visitation Saturday, November 2, 2019 from 2:00 pm until time of Memorial Service at 3:00pm at Glueckert Funeral Home Ltd., 1520 North Arlington Heights Road, (4 blocks south of Palatine Road) Arlington Heights, IL 60004.  In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Alzheimer's Disease Research 22512 Gateway Center Drive, Clarksburg, MD 20871.

Barbara made me a part of the family for over 20 years through thick and thin, no matter what part of the world I happened to be living in. Her laugh was infectious and she had a wicked sense of humor. She was my second mom and I miss her dearly already.
