Tayler, Georgia Van Dyk, age 89, of Minneapolis, previously Fergus Falls, passed away peacefully on Oct. 28th. She was a loving daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and sister as well as a wonderful friend to those needing unconditional love and acceptance. Preceded in death by parents A.T. and Hazel Van Dyk, loving husband Bernard, brothers S. Van Christenson and Howard Van Dyk. Family members that Georgia leaves behind to cherish her memory, daughters Gracia (Jack) Butwin, Marsha (John) Unthank, granddaughter Julia Ailts (Todd), nieces, nephew, extended family, and friends. A celebration of her life will be held Saturday, November 9th at the Mt. Olivet Careview Home Chapel, 5517 Lyndale Ave S, Mpls, with a brief service and visitation beginning at 10 am. In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Georgia may be made to Mt. Olivet Careview Home or Grace Hospice. Both have incredible staff, whose care and attention throughout the many years made her life more full and the difficult moments more comforting.
