Barry McGraw

PHOENIX, AZ Barry W. McGraw, 58, formerly of Cohoes, passed away suddenly Oct. 17, 2019. Born and educated in Cohoes, Barry was the son of the late A. Willard J. McGraw Jr. and Eleanor Conboy McGraw. Barry graduated with a BS from Albany State University and has resided in Arizona for the past 20 years and was currently employed at USAA in Phoenix. Barry is survived by his two beloved children, Mac and Macey McGraw both of Scottsdale and by his 7 loving siblings, Mary Lisa Lyons (Kevin) of Wynantskill, Erin Pytell (Robert) of West Sand Lake, Nancy George (William) of Salem, CT, Amy Galarneau (late Michael) of Cohoes, Joseph McGraw of Albany, Julia Brammer (Dolan) and Megan F. D’Angelico (Anthony) all of Cohoes. Barry was the cherished uncle of Brenden Lyons (Kelsey), Ethan Lyons (Addyson), Carson, Quinn Olivia and Cade Pytell, the late Avery Eleanor Pytell, Lila George, Drake Galarneau (Megan), Tess and Hayden Galarneau, Trey, Eleanor and Reis Brammer, Claire D’Angelico and the late Paige McGraw D’Angelico and the great uncle of Will and Margaret Galarneau and Cole Lyons. Funeral services will be held Friday at 9:30 a.m. at the Fitzgerald Funeral Home, 105 Vliet Blvd., Cohoes and at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Holy Trinity, Cohoes. Relatives and friends may visit at the funeral home Thursday from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests that donations for Barry's children be made directly to Mac B. McGraw in care of KeyBank.

My fellow “Old Guy” at work, I’m gonna miss you my friend. We were the three older gents working weekends, teaching all of the “youngins” how to do things and having some laughs. It’s hard to say goodbye to you Barry. Look after Chris and get some rest my friend.
