Hood, Wayne Kenneth  Passed away peacefully at home surrounded by loved ones on October 21, 2019 at the age of 48. He is survived by the love of his life, Sonia, children Sydney (Jonathan), Jenna (Cody), and John, parents Ken and Marg, and parents-in-law John and Jackie, brothers Doug (Arlene), and Steve (Liz), and many nieces and nephews. Wayne was a loyal, family man who loved skiing, traveling and all things baseball. He was a dedicated, hard-working employee of Wen-Wall Forming for over 25 years. A charismatic party animal, he touched everyone’s life who met him and was loved by all. Wayne’s amazing sense of humour will be missed by all of his friends and family. Visitation at SMITH'S FUNERAL HOME, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), BURLINGTON (905-632-3333), on Friday October 25, 2019 from 3-5pm until 7- 9pm. A Service of Remembrance will be held in the Chapel on Saturday October 26, 2019 at 4 p.m. with a reception to follow. The family asks that those in attendance wear red and white colours, or your favourite baseball shirt.  For those who wish, donations in memory of Wayne to the Terry Fox Foundation would be sincerely appreciated by the family.
