It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Umpy, peacefully in his 98th year on October 13, 2019. Predeceased by his loving wife Mavis. Beloved father to Wendy (Chris), David, Bonnie (Rick), Lynda (Dean), Cary (Len). Loving grandfather to Jason, Michael, Mathew, Jayme, Jessica, Adam, Ben, Cassandra, Danie, Ely, Sequoia, Banyan and great-grandfather to Andrew, Olivia, Mason, Brody, Marley, Addy, Gracie, Isabelle, Naomi, Vienna, Issy and inherited grandchildren Presley, Michael, Chris, Leslie, Vanessa, Aria, Sage, Liam, Elle. A friend to many he will be sadly missed. A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday October 19, 2019 at St Christopher’s Church 662 Guelph Line, Burlington. Visitation 1pm, Service 2pm, reception to follow. Thanks to the community of loving people at the Williamsburg including the amazing staff, the services of Right at Home, the LHIN palliative care team, and the services of MAID and Dying with Dignity for the compassion and support provided at the end of such a wonderful life.
