Mamie Lucille Holden, 71, of Kittrell, died October 15, 2019 at Transitions Hospice in Raleigh. She was born in Franklin County to Erma Holden Hayes and  James Lee Brooks , NC. A funeral service will be held at 1 pm, Monday, October 21 at Rowland Chapel Christian Church. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. She leaves to cherish her memories: her daughter, Sabrina Holden Bishop; her mother, Erma Hayes; six grandchildren: Sylvester Holden, Laquad Holden, Cornell Holden, Jr., Jasmine Holden, Lakiyah Holden and Lakayven Holden; four great-grandchildren: Juelz Holden, Jamari Holden, Shaniyah Holden and Shantelle Holden; Her siblings: Erma Hobbs (Grover), Yvonne Henderson (Frankie), William Holden (Sandra), Carrie Cheek (Mack), Eva Plummer (Gary), Jacqueline Harris (Arthur), Angela Powell (Mike), Joyce Trowbridge (Dwayne), Daxter Brooks (Betty), Orlando Brooks (Constance), Rose Terrell and Stanley Brooks; two special friends: Hazel Waverly and Mary Davis Malone; three aunts: Sallie Holden, Neallie Holden and Edith Brooks; one uncle, Sidney Holden and a host of nieces, nephews and friends. Viewing will be from noon to 5 pm, Sunday in the funeral home chapel. Arrangements are by Davis-Royster Funeral Service.
