Beckstead Carl E. passed away peacefully, after a lengthy illness, at St. Josephs Lifecare Centre, on Thursday, October 10, 2019 at the age of 90 years. Cherished partner of Colin Mackie for the last 19 years. Predeceased by his wife Marg (nee Reinhardt) of twenty-five years. Lovingly remembered by nephew Terry (Lynne) and family, and by great neighbors and dear friends, especially Bob (Elsie) Strople and family. Carl taught school in Brantford and surrounding areas. He was very proud to be choir director and organist at Faith Lutheran church where he attended for many years. As requested by Carl a private family service was held. Interment Farringdon Burial Ground. As an expression of sympathy donations may be made to the Alzheimers Society of Brant.
