Nancy Wiemert

WIEMERT, Nancy (nee Verile), age 90, a lifelong resident of Garfield, died on October 9, 2019. Nancy was an accounting clerk with Park Davis Pharmaceutical in Teterboro retiring in 1973, she was a parishioner of Our Lady of Sorrows RC Church, a member of the VFW Women’s Auxiliary, and the Deborah Foundation, all of Garfield. She is predeceased by her husband, Walter M. Wiemert in 1997, her sons, Raymond L.Wiemert in 2012 and Frank Pluhar in 2018, and 8 siblings. She is survived by two children, Nancy Knapp and husband John J. Knapp, and Steven Wiemert, five grandchildren, Steven, Christine, Louis, Karelann, and John Martin, and 10 great-grandchildren. Visiting Friday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. The funeral is Saturday, October 12, 2019, arriving at the Aloia Funeral Home at 8:00 am followed by a 9:00 am mass at Our Lady of Mount Virgin Church, Garfield.
