Paul G. Tanasi

Paul G. Tanasi, 70, of Tolland, passed away Wednesday, October 9, 2019, surrounded by his loving family. Born August 4, 1949 in Hartford, son of the late Salvatore and Josephine (Privizzini) Tanasi, he grew up in Windsor before moving to South Windsor with his family and has lived in Tolland for the past 7 years. He was a passionate sports fan who was devoted to UCONN his entire life. Paul enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking, and taking trips to the beach. He is survived by his children, Brian Tanasi of Manchester; Christine Schumey and her husband Jason of Stafford Springs; two sisters, Connie Crockett and her husband Richard of Windsor; Paula Molitor and her husband Tom of Manchester; a brother, Salvatore Tanasi Jr. of West Granby; four grandchildren, Kaitlin, Alison, Devon, and Dylan; three nephews, and his ex-wife and friend Marie Tanasi. His family will receive friends Tuesday, October 15, 2019 from 6-8 PM at Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave., Windsor. Memorial donations in Pauls memory may be made to Marys Place, 6 Poquonock Ave., Windsor, CT 06095.
